Are you interested in be part of the Central States ACSM Regional Chapter? We have a variety of positions with many levels of involvement.
Volunteers play a vital role in the Central States ACSM Regional Chapter. All current chapter members are invited to express an interest in serving on any chapter committee or running for an elected office. Members are also invited to nominate colleagues for officer positions as well.
Interest may be indicated any time throughout the year by emailing Central States.
Past-President: 1 position, 1 year term
President: 1 position, 1 year term
President Elect: 1 position, 1 year term
Secretary: 1 position, 3 year term
Graduate Student Representative: 1 position, 2 year term
State Representative – Arkansas: 1 position, 3 year term
State Representative – Kansas: 1 position, 3 year term
State Representative – Missouri: 1 position, 3 year term
State Representative – Oklahoma: 1 position, 3 year term
Regional Chapter Representative: 1 position, 3 year term (appointed by the President with majority vote from the board of directors)
Executive Director: 1 position, 3 year term (recommendation from President and Past-President with majority vote from the board of directors)
Annual Meeting Planning Committee: Chair is Past-President, 3 additional positions, 1 year term
Quiz Bowl Committee: 1 Chair, 2 additional positions, 1 year term
Sponsorship Committee: 1 Chair, 3 additional positions, 3 year term
Nominating Committee: 1 Chair, 1 State Representative from each state (see position above), 3 year term
Awards Committee: 1 Chair, 3 additional positions, 3 year term
